Daniel Wallis

Co-Founder & CEO

As Co-Founder of CitySage, Daniel Wallis is helping shape the future of urban intelligence by blending AI-driven solutions with ecological and human-centered design to build smarter, more sustainable cities.

With over two decades of experience across mobile communications, financial markets, and software development, Daniel brings a strong global perspective to CitySage. He is also the founder of ZONAR, a technology solutions company with operations spanning the UK, Japan, and ASEAN markets. His career includes roles at Shazam and Bloomberg, where he developed deep expertise in technology, data-driven systems, and business development.

Daniel holds a BA (Hons) in Japanese and Business Management from the University of London, further strengthening his ability to bridge cultures, markets, and innovation ecosystems.

Drawn to Kuala Lumpur for its vibrancy, diversity, and urban energy, Daniel has made the city his home for over eight years. His long-standing connection to Malaysia continues to influence CitySage’s mission to design urban solutions that are globally informed yet locally grounded.

Together with the CitySage team, Daniel is focused on advancing urban intelligence that is responsible, scalable, and designed with people at its core.

Dr. Nazri Bajuri (DPhil Oxon)

Co-Founder & CTO

A visionary technology leader with over 15 years of experience at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Human Intelligence, Dr. Nazri Bajuri is the Co Founder and Chief Technology Officer of CitySage.

He holds a D Phil from the University of Oxford UK and is recognized as a Malaysian King’s Scholar, a distinction that reflects not only academic excellence but also a deep commitment to national security sovereignty and loyalty values that continue to guide his work in technology and governance.

At CitySage, Dr. Nazri leads AI driven innovation product architecture and strategic growth, designing the company’s core systems including the Modern Data Platform agentic AI workers and a collaborative AI and Human workforce aligned with the principles of Industry 5.0. His work focuses on enabling smarter more responsible urban decision making through systems that amplify human expertise rather than replace it.

By bridging advanced technology with human centric design and governance aware AI, Dr. Nazri advances data and wisdom driven urban strategies that strengthen resilience sustainability and trust in city systems. His leadership continues to shape CitySage’s vision of building cities that are not only intelligent but truly wise.

Datuk Prof. Ian Davies

Co-Founder & CSO

With over 40 years of experience in interior design across Europe and Southeast Asia, Datuk Prof. Ian Davies is a leading advocate for sustainable design. Having lived and worked in Malaysia for over 30 years, he has played a significant role in shaping the country’s built environment.

He has headed major global firms such as Herman Miller and Haworth and has been instrumental in delivering landmark projects, including:

Highly active in architecture and design education, from the Royal College of Art London to universities in Malaysia, he has served as a lecturer, examiner, and speaker. Dato’ Dr. Ken Yeang

(PhD Cantab, UK)

Advisor

Dr. Ken Yeang, a Cambridge-educated architect and ecologist, has dedicated over 50 years to pioneering sustainable, ecology-based architecture. Known for his iconic bioclimatic skyscrapers and eco-designs, his work seamlessly integrates natural systems into urban spaces, advancing carbon-neutral and climate-resilient cities. Signature projects include Menara Mesiniaga in Malaysia (1992), one of Southeast Asia’s first bioclimatic skyscrapers, and the National Library of Singapore (2005), a benchmark in energy-efficient design for tropical climates. A recipient of the prestigious Merdeka Award and recognized by The Guardian as one of “50 people who could save the planet,” Dr. Yeang brings invaluable insights to CitySage’s offerings, contributing to the vision of a Wise City where urban growth and ecological harmony coexist. Datuk Christopher Boyd

Datuk Christopher Boyd is a veteran property consultant with over 42 years of experience in Malaysia and an additional 12 years in the UK, Australia, and Singapore. Recently retired as Executive Chairman of Savills Malaysia, Datuk Boyd is widely recognized for his expertise in the Malaysian property market and his knowledge of international property acquisition and disposal. His leadership experience includes roles on the boards of MUI Properties and SUNREIT Bhd.

A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and the Institution of Surveyors, Malaysia (FISM), Datuk Boyd also serves as Chairman of the Malaysian Nature Society’s Board of Trustees.
